We are seeking a seasoned sales professional to spearhead new business development initiatives in the ANZ market. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and capitalizing on untapped revenue streams across various markets, segments, and accounts.
You will work closely with marketing and sales leadership to translate market insights into actionable strategies, establish repeatable pipelines, and set the foundation for long-term, high-value partnerships in new areas for our business.
- Own and execute a sales strategy to target new business opportunities in the ANZ market
- Utilize expert knowledge to develop targeted solutions for clients, recognize client needs, and propose tailored solutions.
- Generate and close new business opportunities in whitespace by qualifying leads from multiple sources, including prospectors and self-identified leads.
- Prospect and demonstrate our capabilities to new customers, develop proposals, negotiate contracts, and ultimately close new business.
- Major emphasis is placed on opening new business with new customers.
- Ensure seamless account transitions to Client/Strategic Account Management, including thorough handover meetings, and provide valuable feedback to business segments.
- Build and maintain accurate customer contact and opportunity data in Salesforce, conduct win/loss analysis, and stay up-to-date on market trends to identify new business opportunities.
To excel in this role, you should have:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a professional field sales or SaaS business development capacity
- Experience selling into the finance and tax sectors is highly desirable.
- A proven track record of success in meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Exceptional active listening, negotiation, presentation, and consultative sales skills
- A customer-centric approach
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to identify opportunities in whitespace
- The ability to collaborate effectively with the wider sales team and internal stakeholders
