Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Aged Care Support Worker to join our team in the Hunter Region. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in supporting elderly clients to live independently, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being.


About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual to make a real difference in the lives of others. As an Aged Care Support Worker, you will be responsible for assisting clients with personal care tasks, domestic duties, social engagement, and transportation, respecting each client's unique needs and preferences.


Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Support clients with medication management as part of their care plans.
  • Provide companionship and social support to clients, helping them feel valued and comfortable within their own homes.
  • Accurately document care activities using an iPad and report any concerns or observations to the Coordinator or Admin team.

Requirements
  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent.
  • Australian Driver's License, Car Registration, and Comprehensive Car Insurance.
  • First Aid & CPR Certification.
  • Willing to undertake and pass a Police Check.
  • 2 x COVID Vaccinations.
