Proposal Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Proposal Manager to join our Asia Pacific team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the sales team in winning new business through the creation of professional quality, differentiated proposals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the proposal development process from bid preparation, submission, contract negotiation, and handover to projects teams for delivery.
- Act as the central point of contact throughout the proposal development stage, manage dissemination of information, and establish and maintain internal relationships with all key areas of the business and customer stakeholder management.
- Collaborate with sales leaders in the region to set up the vision and winning strategy to compile the unique value proposition for each opportunity that Fluence is pursuing.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree qualified in Engineering or related discipline.
- 3+ years experience in complex tender and bid management and value-proposition building, preferably on an EPC type project/opportunity.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to be able to negotiate with key stakeholders, ability to develop relationships across all facets of the business and build advocacy within the Asia Pacific region.
- Demonstrated sales and client-focused acumens.
- Ability to write – convey complex messages succinctly and with clarity.
- Ability to professionally communicate at all levels, including C-level.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and handle pressure, to prioritize and multitask within a fast-paced, challenging, and highly interactive deadline-driven environment.
- Experience in Salesforce would be advantageous.
- Periodic travel within APAC is a potential requirement.
