Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to play a key role in shaping the future of our Electricity and Gas Distribution business by delivering strategic financial insights and commercial analysis.

The successful candidate will help influence business decisions that align with our broader Strategic Plan while managing large-scale capital investments.

In this role, you will build strong partnerships across the Electricity and Gas Distribution Management Team and Finance, contributing to collaborative discussions and supporting a culture grounded in shared success, transparency, and impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage strategic finance matters within large, complex environments.
  • Lead and work collaboratively with finance professionals, building a high-performing team culture.
  • Identify and articulate key business drivers and KPIs in multi-disciplinary settings.
  • Combine internal and external data sources to deliver meaningful insights.
  • Budgeting and forecasting in large organisations.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders across the business.

Requirements & Skills:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Finance or related field.
  • Understanding of regulatory frameworks relevant to Networks and Gas Markets.
  • Review contracts or key documents and identify opportunities to optimise financial outcomes.
  • Proficient in SAP and BI tools, including FI/CO, CATS, PS, HR, and PM.
  • Advanced skills in Excel for financial modelling and analysis.
  • Translate complex data into clear insights to support informed decision-making.
