We're seeking an experienced finance professional to lead our Technology function's strategic financial guidance. This role will oversee reporting, forecasting, and governance of both BAU and project-related technology expenditures, shaping business cases, vendor negotiations, and strategic resourcing decisions.

As a trusted partner to the Technology Leadership Team, you'll ensure financial outcomes align with business priorities and support successful technology investments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing budgeting and forecasting processes for Technology, aligned with business strategy and priorities.
  • Delivering accurate, timely reports, budgets, and forecasts, providing clear insights into risks, opportunities, and drivers.
  • Acting as a trusted finance partner across the function, offering financial insights, influencing decisions, and supporting commercial targets.
  • Conducting deep dives into financial and operational data to uncover performance drivers, identify opportunities, and support continuous improvement.
  • Evaluating business initiatives through business cases, white papers, and post-implementation reviews.
  • Supporting long-term planning and strategic goal setting, including governance of key KPIs and financial objectives.
  • Leading and developing a high-performing team, supporting their growth and succession planning.
  • Fostering a culture of learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years' experience in a Commercial Finance Manager or Finance Business Partner role, specifically partnering with Technology.
  • Professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, or CFA).
  • A proven track record of driving results and delivering insights that contribute to business success.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modelling and forecasting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Ability to balance strong commercial acumen and understanding of value drivers with financial governance and pragmatism.
