We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our health and safety initiatives and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement national workplace health and safety policies and procedures
  • Provide guidance and support to our team members on health and safety matters
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential safety risks
  • Stay up-to-date with changes to Australian occupational health and safety regulations and ensure compliance
  • Lead internal audits and identify areas for improvement
  • Analyze safety data to identify trends and areas for improvement

Requirements

  • Certificate IV in Health and Safety
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing national workplace health and safety policies and procedures
  • Demonstrated knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and standards pertaining to workplace health and safety
  • Strong understanding of risk management principles and the ability to conduct thorough risk assessments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record in delivering effective health and safety training programs
  • Experience in managing health and safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to lead a team and promote a positive health and safety culture
