What you’ll contribute to
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Health & Wellbeing Consultant to join our People & Culture Division in a Max Term role until 31st March 2026.
The People & Culture Division is responsible for the provision of Toyota human resources, best practice advisory, learning and development services to both internal customers and external businesses. This includes, but is not limited to, Toyota employees, dealers, suppliers, vehicle importers and the broader community with the aim to becoming an outstanding employer of choice.
This role is based in Altona North with flexible work arrangements on offer.
How you’ll make an impact- Implement agreed health and wellbeing systems and processes consistent with set policies to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and statutory requirements to minimise risk exposure and liabilities.- Assist in the development of health and wellbeing procedures and programs to ensure compliance with Toyota policies and relevant regulations and statutory requirements and to achieve zero harm objectives.- Support health and wellbeing activities ensuring communication of timely, reliable and relevant workplace safety information. Provide support to HR Business Partners to deal with issues/injuries that are escalated or where investigation is required. Liaise with external organisations to ensure compliance with regulations and statutory requirements.- Support the coordination of forums ensuring health and wellbeing plans, progress and issues are clearly communicated to all stakeholder and health and wellbeing team optimally partner with the HR Business Partners in implementing health & wellbeing policies and objectives.- Support the Senior Health & Wellbeing Consultant to monitor and analyse performance against targets. Coordinate gathering, summary and analysis of information. Prepare and distribute reports and presentations to enable sound decision making.
Your attributes - If you’ve got one or more, we’d love to hear from you- Diploma in occupational health and safety, a related qualification or equivalent experience working in a health and safety coordinator role.- Experience with managing and maintaining an online safety system/database.- Ability to manage relationships with stakeholders at all levels.- Excellent time management, communication and organisational skills.- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
