Make a Real Impact with Our Litter Prevention Team

This is a part-time opportunity to make a real difference in the community by implementing and managing litter prevention initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to drive behaviour change and reduce littering in the Hawkesbury region.

The Role Overview

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Implementing and managing effective solutions for litter prevention and waste management challenges.
  • Engaging and partnering with community groups to achieve tangible and beneficial outcomes.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and producing accurate reporting.
About You / Essential Criteria

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Proven experience in delivering impactful solutions for environmental challenges.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with experience working collaboratively with government agencies, business, and community groups.
  • Able to collect, analyse, and report data to support program evaluation and decision-making.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with demonstrated ability to manage data, reporting, and presentations.
  • Demonstrated understanding of local government processes, services, and systems.
  • Tertiary qualifications (Bachelor's or Master's) in Environmental Science, Behaviour Change, Local Government, Education, or a related field.
  • The right to live and work in Australia.
  • Class C Drivers Licence.
  • Working with Children Check (WWCC).
