Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of student-centred curriculum and assessment adjustments to enable students with disabilities to achieve success within a mainstream context.

This role requires strong leadership and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to work closely with staff to strengthen professional development in the Special Education Needs domain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement tailored educational programs to meet the diverse needs of students with diagnosed or imputed disabilities.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to enhance their knowledge and skills in supporting students with special education needs.
  • Manage complex cases across all year groups and provide timely support to students, staff and families using a student-centred case management model.
Requirements and Preferences
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing evidence-based practices related to Autism Spectrum Disorder and various learning disabilities.
  • Ability to lead and support teachers and education assistants in delivering differentiated instructional delivery.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, time management, prioritisation, record-keeping and data analysis to inform planning and practice that improve outcomes for students.
