Job Summary

We are seeking a Director to lead our Line 1 Embedded Risk & Conduct Advisory team, responsible for partnering with the business to integrate non-financial risk management and conduct processes.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring effective assessment of risks, controls and regulatory obligations across the business profile in alignment with risk appetite, regulatory expectations, and in conjunction with Line 2 counterparts.
  • Managing your team to drive continuous improvement of the business control environment, thorough investigation of incidents and resolution of issues.
  • Anticipating and responding to emerging risks, conducting thematic reviews, and shaping proactive risk mitigation processes and controls.
  • Coordinating and attending risk and governance forums for the business unit and delivering risk reporting and metrics to drive accountability and improvements across the business.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in Non-Financial Risk, Conduct or Compliance roles within Institutional Banking or Financial Markets.
  • A deep understanding of operational risk frameworks, control design, and regulatory landscapes.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and strong critical thinking.
  • A desire to work in a fast-paced environment with strong organisational skills and high attention to detail.
  • The ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
