Job Opportunity

The Senior Risk Lead, ESG and Wholesale position is a critical role in our organization's risk management framework. This senior professional will be responsible for overseeing the independent risk management of the Wholesale business and leading the second line management of ESG and Reputational Risks across Australia and New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enterprise Risk Stewardship: Provide independent oversight and effective challenge to the wholesale business on the application of the risk management framework including RCAs, issue management and incidents.
  • Risk Stewardship with respect to ESG and Reputational Risk-related policies. Develop and implement Human Rights risk assessment and controls across AUH and NZM.
  • Subject Matter Expert Advisory Support: Provide expert advisory support for ESG and Reputational Risk-related matters, including preparation of the annual Modern Slavery Statement.
  • Reputational Risk Framework: Enhance and implement the Reputational Risk framework across AUH and NZM.
Requirements:
  • Seasoned Professional: Seasoned finance industry experience in one or more senior risk or compliance roles, including significant ESG and wholesale business experience.
  • Ability to Work Directly with ExCo Level Stakeholders.
  • Articulation and Interpretation: Ability to articulate business and regulatory implications of analysis and findings, and interpret and analyze large volumes of information/data.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Ability to guide and structure the bank's reputational and sustainability risk, and work collaboratively in teams.

Prioritization will be given to candidates who hold Australian PR/Citizenship or New Zealand Citizenship, or who can demonstrate current unrestricted work rights in Australia without limitations.
