Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Systems Support Specialist to provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for various computer systems and software applications within our organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, including operating systems, applications, and network connectivity.
  • Provide technical support for end-users, assisting with software installations, configurations, and troubleshooting.
  • Assist in network troubleshooting and maintenance, resolving connectivity problems and configuring network devices.
  • Maintain system performance by proactively monitoring and updating software and hardware to ensure security and efficiency.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, such as user guides and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Provide after-hours support on a rotating basis, including weekends, and be available for short-notice travel to our location.

You are a proactive, solutions-oriented individual with excellent problem-solving and communication skills. You thrive in dynamic environments and have a strong customer service focus.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in providing technical support and troubleshooting (Essential)
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) (Essential)
  • Proficiency in MS Active Directory, Citrix, and common software applications including M365 and Adobe Creative Cloud (Essential)
  • Australian Driver's Licence (Essential)
  • Experience in the hospitality industry (Desirable)
