About the Opportunity

We currently have a unique opportunity to work as a Senior Speech Pathologist in our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service, where you will be responsible for providing specialist speech therapy services to children, adolescents, and families with complex mental health needs.

  • Delivering expert speech therapy in forensic mental health care settings, including youth justice and court environments.
  • Leading clinical practice and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Supervising and supporting speech therapy staff to achieve high-quality patient outcomes.
  • Conducting thorough assessments and screenings in youth justice and court settings.
  • Contributing to service development and quality improvement initiatives across CAMHS.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong ability to communicate and collaborate with other professionals.
  • High-level responsibility and autonomy to deliver speech therapy services.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Extensive clinical experience in mental health speech therapy services for children and adolescents, with advanced expertise in a relevant clinical modality.
  • Substantial experience in supervising clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
