Child and Adolescent Mental Health Specialist Speech Therapist

The role of a senior speech pathologist in CAMHS is multifaceted and requires expertise in various areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality specialist speech therapy services to children, adolescents, and families with complex mental health needs.
  • Deliver forensic mental health care, including assessments and screenings in Youth Justice and Youth Court settings.
  • Lead clinical practice and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Supervise and support staff members in the speech therapy department.
About You:
  • You will have extensive clinical experience in delivering mental health speech therapy services to children and adolescents.
  • Advanced clinical skills in at least one clinical modality relevant to Child and Adolescent Forensic Mental Health are essential.
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills are required.
