About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Injury Management Specialist to join our team at Allianz Australia Services Pty Ltd. As an Injury Management Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the development of our Injury Management model across Claims.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Claims Consultants to provide timely delivery of care and treatment to support recovery and return to life and work outcomes
- Ensure return to life and work outcomes, tailored to our customers' individual goals are achieved
- Work with teams, technical specialists, and Team Leaders to provide support to claims teams and proactively provide education in the areas of medical and injury management
- Support cost-effective injury management by ensuring treatment and rehabilitation services are aligned to effective claim outcomes and evidenced-based best practice
Requirements
- A degree or tertiary qualifications in an Allied Health field, such as Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation Counselling, Psychology, or Nursing
- Demonstrated experience in either personal injury, disability, or health industry
- Experience in CTP, Workers Compensation, or Occupational Rehabilitation is highly desirable
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Highly developed skills in coaching, influencing, and relationship building
- A drive for change and continual improvement
