We are seeking an experienced and dedicated healthcare professional to provide high-quality, culturally appropriate nursing care for patients within a remote healthcare environment.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering primary health care and emergency services in a remote setting.
You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure an integrated service approach, focusing on prevention and early intervention.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in general nursing.
- Significant experience in providing primary health care/population health and/or emergency health services in remote Australia.
- Demonstrated understanding of the principles of Primary Health care, community development, and the social determinants of health.
You will be motivated to utilise your knowledge of emergency response, patient triaging, population health, chronic disease management, culturally safe practice, and health promotion to deliver a comprehensive health service to remote communities.
This role offers opportunities to work across various locations in South Australia, including Innamincka, Marree, Marla, Andamooka, and more.
