Remote Area Nurse Specialist

We are seeking experienced Healthcare Professionals for short-term contracts to provide comprehensive nursing care in remote areas. The ideal candidate will be passionate about making a difference in challenging environments and capable of working autonomously within a dynamic team.

  • Develop customized care plans based on patients' needs, preferences, and goals, in collaboration with the patient, family, and healthcare team.
  • Provide skilled interventions to patients, including wound management, medication administration, IV therapy, catheter care, and disease management.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs, symptoms, and response to treatment, intervening as necessary to address health issues.
  • Inspect wounds, change dressings, and assist with personal grooming and hygiene.
  • Test for muscle weakness, bedsores, and signs of infection.
  • Monitor patient recovery and compile reports for physicians.

A Bachelor of Nursing qualification (or equivalent) and current registration are required. A minimum of 2 years' experience working in remote or rural healthcare settings is also necessary.
