Job Role

  • We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our onshore pipeline design efforts.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all pipeline designs meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance with national regulations.
  • Strong communication and project management skills are essential for this role, as the candidate will need to work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Additionally, the ideal candidate will have a proven track record of mentoring and developing junior team members.
  • As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in identifying and mitigating project delivery risks, and providing technical guidance to support project success.

Responsibilities

  • Design and construct carbon steel pipelines in accordance with AS2885.
  • The selected candidate should have experience in material selection, fracture control plans, and line pipe specifications.
  • A thorough understanding of HDPE gas and water network design and APGA Code of Practice is highly desirable.
  • Proven knowledge of pipeline construction support, pipeline design reviews, safety management studies, and risk reviews is also required.

Requirements

  • A recognized engineering degree is essential for this role.
  • RPEQ/RPEV registration and IEPNG membership are mandatory.
  • Appropriate working rights for Australia are also required.
