Civil Project Engineering Opportunity

This is an exciting chance to work on a major pipeline project with a leading contractor. We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our team in Cairns for a 4-month contract.

About the Project

The project involves working across various sectors such as roads, rail, resources, and renewable energies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing, implementing, and monitoring project management plans
  • Construction planning, scheduling, and progress tracking
  • Design constructability and compliance reviews
  • Management of subcontractors including building, structural, piping, mechanical, civil, electrical, and design contracts
  • Cost forecasting and financial management

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an engineering role
  • Demonstrated experience in Civil or Mechanical Construction
  • Water Infrastructure experience is preferred
  • Experience with Tier 1 Contractors is advantageous
  • Clear and confident communication skills
  • Willingness to relocate to Cairns for the duration of the contract
