The Opportunity

This is an exciting role for a Design Engineer to contribute to innovative pipeline infrastructure projects across Australia. As part of our Engineering Solutions team, you'll support the Design Manager on tender and operational projects, applying engineering knowledge to real-world design challenges. You will review and verify designs, improve design tools and processes, and contribute to evaluating new technologies and products.

This role offers great opportunities to grow technical skills, gain exposure across the project lifecycle, and work with a supportive team committed to innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

You'll Bring:

  • A relevant engineering degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification
  • CPEng accreditation or willingness to obtain it if not already attained
  • Knowledge and/or experience in underground pipeline infrastructure design and/or construction, ideally across pressure and gravity pipeline systems
  • Finite element modelling skills and experience
  • Familiarity with Australian (AS/NZS) and/or international design standards
  • Knowledge of structural analysis and design principles
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills with ability to prepare technical reports
