Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled individual to join our team as a dedicated care professional. This role is integral to the day-to-day operations of our facility, delivering frontline personal care services to residents.

\r

The successful candidate will provide high-quality, individualised care to residents, including providing personal care to assist with daily living needs, implementing activities to maintain physical, mental, social, creative, and psychological well-being, observing resident condition and reporting changes, and completing clinical assessments and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care to assist residents with daily living needs\r
  • Implement activities to maintain and promote physical, mental, social, creative, and psychological aspects of residents' well-being\r
  • Observe resident condition and report changes\r
  • Complete resident clinical assessments and documentation\r
  • Support allied health team in various activities\r
  • Support staff involved in admissions of new residents and ensure new residents are welcomed and settled in\r
  • Participate in relevant training/activities provided in relation to Work Health & Safety\r
  • Adhere to infection control policies and procedures\r
  • Participate in quality activities that promote quality improvement in care/service provided\r
  • Provide support in the orientation and mentoring of new employees\r

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent qualification\r
  • Current First Aid Certificate\r
  • Current National Police Check or willingness to obtain\r
  • Current vaccinations or willingness to obtain (flu and hep b)\r
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in aged care or home care\r
  • Working with people\r
  • Delivering results and meeting customer expectations\r
  • Following instructions and procedures\r
  • Coping with pressures and setbacks\r
  • Commitment to working in a positive team culture\r
