Are you a seasoned professional seeking a challenging role in the energy sector? This Senior Manager position may be the perfect fit for you.

This job involves leading the procurement and trading of energy, as well as developing strategic customer relationships. You will have a commercial acumen and strong negotiation skills, with experience in wholesale and retail contracts, PPAs, and market pricing.

The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data, drive business growth through market insights, and develop effective stakeholder management strategies.

About this Role:

  • Drive energy procurement strategy across wholesale and retail contracts
  • Structure and negotiate PPAs and manage ongoing supplier relationships
  • Support infrastructure procurement by collaborating with engineering and finance teams
  • Provide insights on market trends, pricing, and risk management
  • Build and maintain relationships with energy partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong experience in commercial energy markets (retail, wholesale, generation or renewables)
  • Deep understanding of energy contracting, hedging, and market pricing
  • We would also consider M&A/Investments focused candidates from renewable developers or gentailers
  • Commercial acumen and strong negotiation capabilities
  • Background in infrastructure or data centre sectors a plus
  • Stakeholder management experience across commercial and technical teams
