As a structural engineering professional, you will play a crucial role in supporting our business success at both local and national levels. Key Responsibilities
  • Identify key clients and develop strategies to maintain and enhance relationships
  • Independently manage engineering requirements for substantial projects, requiring extensive experience
  • Oversee the improvement of professional engineering tasks, project management, and project controls
  • Conduct site-based inspections, engineering, and commission services for internal and external projects
  • Monitor project controls and assessments, ensuring timely delivery within set expectations
  • Lead and mentor team members to achieve their full potential
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A degree in engineering or equivalent, recognized by Engineers Australia (CPEng/RPEQ desirable)
  • Extensive design experience within a leading consultancy, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects
  • Demonstrated skills in project coordination and collaboration on large-scale projects
  • RC, PT, timber, and steel design expertise, along with lateral stability knowledge, especially for large and complex buildings
  • A strong working knowledge of various design software packages
  • Exceptional leadership qualities, with the ability to work collaboratively and mentor others
  • A strong ability to communicate technical and project information with clients, staff, and management
