Unlock a dynamic career as a SCADA Engineer where you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing advanced substation control systems for renewable energy projects. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with cross-functional groups to develop functional descriptions, electrical schematics, termination drawings, and data/IO/loading lists.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SCADA software platforms, RTUs, and HMI systems, as well as a strong understanding of communication protocols. A background in renewable energy projects and knowledge of cybersecurity standards relevant to industrial control systems will be advantageous. The successful applicant will also possess:

  • Bachelor Degree (Engineering) and eligibility for membership of Institution of Engineers Australia
  • Proficiency with AutoCad and Ignition
  • Experience in the development and delivery of substation SCADA control systems for complex high voltage grid connection projects
  • Exposure to balance of plant SCADA systems is beneficial
  • Willingness to travel to site when required
  • A collaborative mindset and genuine passion for working in a close-knit team environment
About This Role

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Designing and developing substation SCADA control systems for complex high voltage grid connection projects
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective system implementation and maintenance
  • Developing and maintaining technical documentation, including functional descriptions, electrical schematics, and data/IO/loading lists
  • Providing expert guidance on SCADA software platforms, RTUs, and HMI systems
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
