Job Description\

As a Senior SCADA Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing the controls necessary for large battery storage projects.

\

You will be responsible for developing and deploying monitoring and control schemes for complex utility-scale battery projects. Your expertise will be essential in managing the design, integration, deployment, and commissioning process for entire SCADA scope, both on-site and remotely.

\

Key responsibilities include:

\
  • Designing and implementing monitoring and control schemes for battery storage projects
  • Managing the integration of SCADA systems with other infrastructure components
  • Ensuring the security and integrity of telemetry data
  • Coordinating with internal teams to define functional requirements and facilitate the implementation of new features
  • Supporting the development and testing of new software capabilities

Requirements:

\
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant Engineering discipline with five years' work experience; OR equivalent experience and evidence of exceptional ability
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in implementing communication networks for critical infrastructure including multi-layer network architecture
  • Networking-related certifications (CCNA, CCNP, etc) are a plus
  • Experience with implementing industry standard cyber security requirements: DMZ, jump/proxy servers, firewall rules, etc
  • Demonstrated application of analysis, design, and testing to solve complex engineering problems

This role requires strong knowledge of engineering fundamentals – mechanical, electrical, and thermal – as well as familiarity with relevant communication protocols and computer interfaces.

The ideal candidate will have experience with implementing various redundant networking/control system architectures to eliminate single points of failure.
