As a SCADA Engineer at EPEC, you\'ll be at the centre of delivering advanced Substation SCADA and Communications solutions across a range of renewable energy projects. You\'ll design communications and control systems, and develop functional descriptions, electrical schematics, termination drawings, and data/IO/loading lists—playing a key role in shaping the future of smart energy infrastructure.

About You

Our ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SCADA software platforms, RTUs, and HMI systems, and a strong understanding of SCADA and communication protocols (IEC 61850, DNP3, Modbus, etc.). A background in renewable energy projects and knowledge of cybersecurity standards relevant to industrial control systems will support your success. You will also bring:

• Bachelor Degree (Engineering) and eligible for membership of Institution of Engineers Australia.
• Proficient with AutoCad (desirable Ignition).
• Experience in the development and delivery of substation SCADA control systems for complex high voltage grid connection projects.
• Exposure to balance of plant SCADA systems is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel to site when required (infrequent).
• Collaborative mindset and a genuine passion for working in a close-knit team.
