Indigenous Research Leader

This is a unique opportunity to lead the development and delivery of culturally safe, world-class Indigenous research strategies across the University's research landscape. As a respected leader in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander research, you will collaborate with key stakeholders to guide the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Research Strategy and strengthen the visibility of Indigenous scholarship across all disciplines.

The successful candidate will drive the recruitment, development, and retention of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander researchers, fostering connections among University researchers and uplifting Indigenous research across the five priority Strategic Research Themes in the University's Research Strategy.

You will identify opportunities where interdisciplinary research can contribute to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander priorities and support translation of research into meaningful outcomes. Your exceptional leadership, cultural fluency, and strong track record in Indigenous research and innovation will be invaluable assets in this role.
