Mater Misericordiae Ltd is seeking a skilled Clinical Facilitator to join our team in a part-time capacity working 24 hours a week. This contract position will see you provide expert clinical guidance and learning development for staff across our Rehabilitation Unit.

As a Clinical Facilitator, you will be responsible for providing direct and indirect support and supervision to clinicians in Rehab ward to promote and facilitate positive clinical outcomes and High Value Healthcare. You will plan, deliver, and evaluate clinical education to meet current and emergent Mater staff learning needs and support staff to work at top of scope.

The ideal candidate will have minimum of three years clinical experience in Rehab ward and experience in clinical facilitation, supervision, or preceptorship. You will also possess knowledge of education and training in Australian healthcare organizations, proficiency in Microsoft 365, and strong time management and organizational skills.

  • Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate clinical learning opportunities to address knowledge and skill gaps
  • Collaborate to create flexible and evidence-based learning resources
  • Communicate effectively and contribute positively to the workplace

  • Provide constructive feedback to staff
  • Use simulation and other methodologies to enhance knowledge application and critical thinking
  • Seek innovation and improvement in education and clinical practice
  • Embrace and support staff through change processes
  • Engage in educational research and quality improvement activities
  • Evaluate staff progress and adapt education programs as needed
