Digital Communications Expert

The Governance and Capability Service supports the Commissioner of Police in discharging his responsibilities to control and manage SAPOL by ensuring the organisation has appropriate governance and capability to meet its statutory charter, other government obligations, and community expectations.
The Service leads in supporting strategic thinking, determining strategic objectives, and fulfilling the organisation's vision and values to drive SAPOL's performance.
Our team is responsible for developing and implementing internal communication strategies and managing the internal digital communications platform to effectively reach staff.
The role involves building awareness, fostering relationships with audiences, and providing specialist digital marketing and social media advice to execute digital strategies across various communication platforms within the organisation.
- Maintaining current Australian work eligibility and undergoing a criminal history check as required.
- Performing tasks assigned at this remuneration level or equivalent.
- Undertaking out-of-hours work and intra/interstate travel when necessary.
- Participating in our engagement program.
Requirements
- Possessing tertiary qualifications in communications or a related discipline.
Benefits
This position offers a salary of ASO6 - $98,478 - $104,165 per annum.
