We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic applicant for an apprenticeship that offers the chance to learn new skills, take pride in completing a job well done, and start a long-term trade career in the mechanical industry.

About This Role

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills as a mechanical fitter and turner through on-the-job training while undertaking a nationally recognised qualification.

You will be appointed an experienced field officer who will guide you through your trade, providing consistent mentoring, support, and performance management throughout your apprenticeship.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Overhauling gearboxes, conveyors, pumps, and driveshafts
  • Installing bearings on site
  • Dismantling, cleaning, assessing, and measuring parts
  • Assisting with small machining jobs
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workshop
  • Workshop deliveries (local area)
  • Assisting with equipment maintenance

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • A positive attitude towards learning and taking on new challenges
  • A sound level of computer literacy
  • A reliable and punctual work ethic
  • A valid driver's license
