Lead Business Analyst

This is a strategic role responsible for the direction of analytics and reporting across Sales and Activity platforms. The successful candidate will have strong business partnering capabilities and drive actionable insights with Sales and Marketing teams.

The role involves defining business priorities, possibilities, and problems using data to provide insight into the current and future state of the Business Unit. You will manage data integrity and systems to collect, analyze, depict, report, and predict.

You will also optimize Veeva system, finding efficiencies in how our teams input their data and how the overall business reports on this. Involvement with global teams and management of offshore data administration teams is essential.

Involved in planning, evaluating, and managing all business and technical issues for CRM systems, utilising Data analyst where necessary. Supports Data analyst with field force team that require maintenance, configuration, and reporting.

Able to interact with various levels of management to present analysis on activity, territory structure, CRM metrics, and use insights gained to present recommendations for optimizing of field force to develop and improve performance.

Responsibilities:
  • Leading business partnering with Sales and Marketing teams, driving actionable insights using Sales and Activity data
  • Challenging business and providing recommendations to key business issues; address specific business issues involving CRM and sales operations
  • Identify usage problems and craft plans to remedy
  • Analyse and develop appropriate territory structures, based on needs of business units, working with Business Unit Analyst
  • Providing analytical support to Business Unit utilising various internal and external data sources, developing dashboards or reports as required

Key skills and experience include: System Analyst, Data Management, Business Analysis and Reporting, Project management, Data Science, SAP knowledge, Microsoft Suite, Power BI and Tableau, Strong analytical, planning and problem-resolution skills, Ability to translate requirements into specifications and convert data and information into intelligence.
