Our company is seeking a talented Electrical Engineer with experience in renewable energy to join our team.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a range of projects, including the design and development of electrical systems for renewable facilities, such as wind, solar, and battery storage facilities.
As part of our high-performing energy team, you will be actively involved in delivering projects that enhance and modernize next-generation energy infrastructure.
We are looking for someone with exceptional written and verbal communication skills to liaise with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders at varying levels of seniority.
- Design and develop electrical systems for renewable facilities, including wind, solar, and battery storage facilities.
- Oversee projects and review concept designs for power generation facilities on projects across Victoria.
- Act as technical leaders for the development of specifications and work with Senior Leadership Team with key clients and stakeholders.
- Provide technical advice and use project management experience to advise on project timelines, schedule, budget, contractor management, and risk management.
The following qualifications and experience are highly desired:
- Electrical Engineering degree with relevant experience, knowledge of Australian standards and projects.
- 3+ years' experience as an Electrical Engineer in the renewable energy sector, either owner/client side or working for a consultancy (preferred) with a track record of project management experience.
- RPEV (or ability to obtain) is important given the nature of this role.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to liaise with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders at varying levels of seniority.
- Proven knowledge of major power generation technologies and major equipment OEMs and plant suppliers.
- Ideally, candidates will have exposure to HOMER and PVsyst. Experience with windPRO is advantageous but not essential.
