Job Overview

Electrical Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer with expertise in renewable energy to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for wind, solar, and battery storage facilities.

  • Responsibilities
  1. Design and develop electrical systems for renewable facilities, including wind, solar, and battery storage facilities.
  2. Oversee projects and review concept designs for power generation facilities across Victoria.
  3. Act as a technical leader for the development of specifications, working with key clients and stakeholders.
  4. Provide technical advice and use project management experience to advise on project timelines, schedule, budget, contractor management, and risk management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Essential Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as an Electrical Engineer in the renewable energy sector.
  • Project management experience is essential.
  • Knowledge of Australian standards and projects.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to liaise with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders at varying levels of seniority.
Ideal Qualifications:
  • Electrical Engineering degree with relevant experience.
  • RPEV (or ability to obtain).
  • Proven knowledge of major power generation technologies and OEMs.
  • Experience with HOMER and PVsyst is advantageous.
