Cultural Specialist

We are seeking a specialist to join our dynamic team.
This role is responsible for establishing and embedding positive relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander consumers, their families and community.
The successful applicant will be expected to provide high-quality customer service to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander consumers as well as staff.
The position is based at The Canberra Hospital, however, will be required to work across multiple sites as deemed necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- To ensure a positive patient journey for healthcare consumers.
- To establish and embed positive relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander consumers, their families and community.
- To promote and protect the rights and dignity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders.
Requirements:
- An exciting opportunity exists for an empathetic and compassionate specialist.
- Confirmation of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander heritage is mandatory.
