Job Title: Health Safety and Environment Specialist
About the Role:We are seeking a skilled Health Safety and Environment Specialist to join our team. As an HSE Coordinator, you will play a critical role in driving our health, safety, and environment culture.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive the implementation of our Health, Safety, and Environment Management System, conducting regular audits, site visits, and inspections.
- Support strategic HSE initiatives and project implementation, providing recommendations for risk control and mitigation.
- Maintain compliance with legislation, client requirements, and environmental impact evaluations.
- Investigate incidents using established methodologies and facilitate root cause analysis.
- Review and advise on HSE policies, procedures, and competencies to ensure alignment with industry best practices.
- Certificate IV in WHS or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a safety role, preferably in a drilling or mining environment.
- Demonstrated report writing and analytical skills, with the ability to communicate complex information effectively.
- Senior First Aid Certificate and high level of written, digital, and verbal communication skills.
