Job Description\

SA Community Care and Disability Contract is a fantastic opportunity to make a difference in the lives of people living with disabilities. As a support worker, you will have the chance to work with a committed team to provide high-quality care services that enable our clients to live independently, safely, and comfortably within their communities.

We are seeking experienced support workers who are enthusiastic, client-focused, and committed to supporting people with disabilities. Your role will involve providing personal care, domestic assistance, mealtime management, and community support to individuals with high-level spinal cord injuries. You will be part of a supportive team environment that values training, development opportunities, and making a positive impact on the lives of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing individualized and flexible support services to assist our clients to live independently
  • Assisting clients with personal care, domestic assistance, mealtime management, and community support
  • Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care plans are implemented
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and their families to ensure high-quality care services

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

- A Certificate III in Individual Support or similar qualification
- Relevant industry experience (6 months or more) with a preference given to support workers who have experience with supporting individuals with spinal cord injuries
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children check
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
- Valid unrestricted Driver's Licence and willingness to transport clients
