Supply Chain Specialist Job Description

This role involves demand and supply planning, inventory management, production scheduling coordination, and cross-functional collaboration to maintain efficient supply chain operations.

  • Develop and maintain accurate supply plans based on sales forecasts, historical data, and inventory targets.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure timely replenishment of products and meet customer demands.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to maintain optimal stock across distribution centers or production sites.
  • Purchase manufacturing components and finished goods in a timely manner to avoid delays.
  • Identify potential supply constraints and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
  • Create reports and dashboards to track key supply chain metrics (e.g., inventory turnover, service level, forecast accuracy).
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in supply planning, demand planning, or related supply chain roles.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in supply planning tools and ERP systems.
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with forecasting and planning tools is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
