Commodity Specialist Position

The role involves strategic planning, supplier relationship management and contract negotiation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic plans for commodity procurement.
  • Negotiate contracts to optimize supply chain performance and cost savings.
  • Conduct market analysis and monitor supplier performance to mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations and finance.

Applicants should have 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement or supply chain management, expertise in commodity specialist roles, supplier negotiations and cost analysis, strong understanding of contract manufacturing, global markets and supply chain risk management, as well as familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred).
