Traffic Engineering Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead complex traffic engineering projects from planning to implementation, ensuring company objectives are met through effective project management.
  • Foster collaboration between public and private sectors to drive project success.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, representing their interests at public meetings.
  • Supervise direct reports, providing guidance and feedback to ensure high-quality results.
  • Conduct transportation impact analyses (TIAs) and other traffic studies to meet state and local standards.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including proposals and billing projections.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil or transportation engineering from an accredited university.
  • Prior experience working on transportation engineering projects, preferably with a Professional Engineering license in NC and/or VA, SC.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Synchro and other transportation engineering software packages, as well as Microsoft Office software.
