The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our sewerage network operations in Rocklea. As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management, maintenance, and control of our sewerage networks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage a team to ensure compliance with safety policies, procedures, and standards
  • Promote a culture of workplace health and safety through hazard reporting, toolbox meetings, incident management, and investigations
  • Lead and manage a multi-disciplinary team executing high-risk work such as CCTV inspections and high-pressure water jetting
  • Schedule work, allocate tasks, and ensure timely and cost-effective completion
  • Provide input and expertise into the estimation, quotation, and tendering of works
  • Maintain effective relationships with clients, stakeholders, and other external parties
  • Develop and implement a safety-first and continuous improvement culture
  • Drive improvements and efficiencies to ensure optimization

Requirements

  • Experience in sewer and stormwater networks
  • Knowledge of sewage networks or industrial system operations is desirable
