Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate production equipment with proficiency, ensuring high-quality products are produced efficiently.
  • Conduct quality measuring and testing procedures to maintain production standards.
  • Take immediate action to resolve quality issues and manage internal scrap effectively.
  • Organise tasks in the finishing area, including small press operation, labelling, QC testing, and rework, to maximise productivity.
  • Set up machinery and maintain production rates and Quality standards to ensure efficient operations.
  • Use air power and hand tools safely and correctly.

Requirements:

  • Previous manufacturing experience, preferably in a similar role.
  • Basic computer literacy for data entry and reporting purposes.
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Physical fitness to lift up to 20-25kg, as required by the job.
  • A current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle for work-related travel.
  • Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new challenges and technologies.
