We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team.
About the Role
This is a part-time position that requires 18-24 hours of work per week. You will be working closely with senior healthcare professionals, support staff, and clients to provide high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough clinical assessments of client health needs and develop plans to meet those needs.
- Collaborate with RNs, Participant Managers, and support staff to ensure holistic care for clients.
- Develop and support internal initiatives and contribute to training and assessment of support worker skill competencies.
- Manage and oversee catheter/urostomy, colostomy, wound, and bowel care.
- Travel between different sites to provide care to clients.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A current registration as a Registered Nurse.
- A current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- A current NDIS Clearance and Working with Children Check.
- Experience in disability and/or aged care settings, preferably.
- Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills.
- An ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
