Platform Architect Leader

This role involves leading the delivery of a new SaaS-based platform called Temporal. The platform enables Durable Execution of Workflows across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set and define the product strategy, vision, goals and roadmap for product objectives and purpose.
  • Champion the adoption of Temporal across multiple internal teams.
  • Take overall accountability and technical ownership for the design and engineering of the platform.
  • Utilise strong knowledge of software engineering methodology to ensure systems are loosely coupled and fit-for-purpose.
  • Act as the primary interface between the platform team and business units.
Requirements:
  • Strong software development background with hands-on coding experience.
  • Well-versed in saga patterns and experienced in implementing orchestration and choreography use cases.
  • Comfortable working across diverse codebases and can advise teams on incorporating Temporal into platforms built with various technologies.
  • Experience with workflow-based platforms such as Pega and understands orchestration and transaction properties.
  • Effective communication skills to translate technical needs into strategic delivery.
