Asphalt Construction Opportunities

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our Asphalt Crew in Port Kembla.

This hands-on role is crucial to the success of our operations, where you'll contribute to the delivery of high-quality road surfacing projects. On a daily basis, you'll be operating mobile construction equipment, supporting the crew with a range of labouring tasks, and ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently.

This position offers the chance to build your skills in a supportive team environment while playing a key role in delivering projects that help connect communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to all crew tasks as necessary to deliver a quality product in a safe environment
  • Safely and efficiently operate asphalt mobile plant equipment
  • Maintain company trucks and plant equipment
  • Participate in site safety and business improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with OH&S policies, meeting safety and environmental standards

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in asphalt road surfacing (preferred)
  • Strong commitment to safety and the environment with a superior customer focus
  • General Construction Induction Card
  • Current Heavy Vehicle driver's license (HR) or Mobile Equipment National Competency (highly regarded)
  • Proven ability to work well within a team environment
