The Role
In this exciting opportunity, you will join our team as a strategic business improvement consultant, working on a variety of projects across different areas of the business.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Identifying and documenting current business processes to create a baseline understanding of the current situation and processes.
- Creating and facilitating process design improvements by conducting business and systems process analysis.
- Providing program/stream level analysis and producing required analysis documentation.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to elaborate user stories, acceptance criteria, and process maps.
- Providing assistance to product owners with the use of internal systems.
- Evaluating the effectiveness of proposed solutions and designs.
- Leading the transition of business requirements over to build teams for development.
- Supporting verification testing of built solutions to ensure alignment to business requirements.
Key Responsibilities (APS6)
- Producing reports, interpreting data, and analyzing results using standard statistical techniques.
- Coordinating divisional and branch reporting requirements to monitor and track improvement and performance outcomes.
- Developing business functional requirements and resources consistent with contractual, legislative, and policy environments.
- Translating business metrics to inform internal stakeholder requirements.
- Designing and delivering workshops, communication, and consultation resources.
- Establishing and implementing governance and compliance processes, dashboards, and management systems.
- Implementing and maintaining audit and risk processes, controls, and undertaking issues resolution.
- Evaluating the effectiveness of proposed solutions and designs.
- Supporting the transition of business requirements over to build teams for development.
- Supporting verification testing of built solutions to ensure alignment to business requirements.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Solid experience as a business analyst within government or large corporate organizations.
- Demonstrated experience with Jira & Confluence.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills and experience.
- Strong ability to analyze and document requirements, processes, and systems.
- Previous agile experience.
