The Role

In this exciting opportunity, you will join our team as a strategic business improvement consultant, working on a variety of projects across different areas of the business.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying and documenting current business processes to create a baseline understanding of the current situation and processes.
  • Creating and facilitating process design improvements by conducting business and systems process analysis.
  • Providing program/stream level analysis and producing required analysis documentation.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to elaborate user stories, acceptance criteria, and process maps.
  • Providing assistance to product owners with the use of internal systems.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of proposed solutions and designs.
  • Leading the transition of business requirements over to build teams for development.
  • Supporting verification testing of built solutions to ensure alignment to business requirements.

Key Responsibilities (APS6)

  • Producing reports, interpreting data, and analyzing results using standard statistical techniques.
  • Coordinating divisional and branch reporting requirements to monitor and track improvement and performance outcomes.
  • Developing business functional requirements and resources consistent with contractual, legislative, and policy environments.
  • Translating business metrics to inform internal stakeholder requirements.
  • Designing and delivering workshops, communication, and consultation resources.
  • Establishing and implementing governance and compliance processes, dashboards, and management systems.
  • Implementing and maintaining audit and risk processes, controls, and undertaking issues resolution.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of proposed solutions and designs.
  • Supporting the transition of business requirements over to build teams for development.
  • Supporting verification testing of built solutions to ensure alignment to business requirements.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Solid experience as a business analyst within government or large corporate organizations.
  • Demonstrated experience with Jira & Confluence.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills and experience.
  • Strong ability to analyze and document requirements, processes, and systems.
  • Previous agile experience.
