About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Climate Data Analyst to join our Climate Resilience Solutions team. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in researching climate change at global, regional, and local levels.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting research on climate change impacts and adaptation strategies
  • Collecting, managing, and analysing geospatial data related to environmental risks and natural hazards
  • Developing and maintaining standards, policies, and quality assurance protocols for climate data products
  • Building and validating computer models to simulate climate change scenarios and natural hazard events
  • Conducting spatial analysis to identify potential impacts and hazards, and providing recommendations for risk mitigation strategies
  • Staying informed about legislative and regulatory frameworks related to climate resilience and disclosures

What We're Looking For

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in climate science, data analysis, and geospatial data management. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience with Python programming or other similar programming languages
  • Experience in developing models related to natural catastrophes and analysing climate-related risks
  • Understanding of climate change concepts and risk assessment methodologies
  • Experience working with climate data, geospatial data, and large-scale numerical models
  • Proficiency in data management, quality assurance, and statistical analysis
  • Relevant qualifications in environmental engineering, statistics, climate science, or related fields
