We're seeking a seasoned Climatologist with expertise in climate data analysis to join our pioneering team at Property Exchange.

 

About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for an analytical professional to contribute to the development of innovative climate resilience solutions. As a Senior Climatologist, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting comprehensive climate research to inform decision-making and drive climate action across industries.
  • Collecting and analysing geospatial data related to environmental risks and natural hazards to support informed decision-making.
  • Developing and maintaining standards for climate data products to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Building and validating computer models to simulate climate change scenarios and natural hazard events.
  • Providing recommendations for risk mitigation strategies based on spatial analysis and climate data insights.

 

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Extensive experience with Python programming or other similar programming languages.
  • Proven expertise in developing models related to natural catastrophes and analysing climate-related risks.
  • Strong understanding of climate change concepts and risk assessment methodologies.
  • Proficiency in data management, quality assurance, and statistical analysis.
  • Relevant qualifications in environmental engineering, statistics, climate science, or related fields.
  • Excellent analytical skills and a track record of driving climate resilience outcomes.
