About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our Water Treatment team in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work on iconic projects that drive future-ready outcomes for clients and communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple projects of varying complexity, overseeing scope, day-to-day tasks, and producing high-quality technical documentation.
  • Contribute to project management, including technical review, risk management, and commercial oversight.
  • Apply state and federal water legislation, industry standards, and guidelines.
  • Liaise with project stakeholders, including clients and vendors.
  • Provide technical input to proposals and pursue business development opportunities.
  • Stay updated on water and wastewater technology advancements, offering technical expertise and innovation in project design and procurement.
About You
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, with CPEng accreditation (or working towards).
  • Relevant consulting experience in the Water industry.
  • Technical proficiency across Water and/or Wastewater Treatment/Process disciplines.
  • Proficient in leading hydraulic and civil design for water and wastewater treatment plants.
  • Familiarity with modeling software, analytics techniques, and detailed design and equipment selection.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of effectively conveying complex technical concepts to clients and internal and external stakeholders.
