Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced Policy and Governance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our governance function, you will play a critical role in developing and reviewing policies that support the delivery of our services.



Responsibilities



  • Maintain a thorough understanding of C&K's policy framework, Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations, the National Quality Framework, and best practices in early childhood education and care.
  • Develop and review policies that support the delivery of our services, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement effective communication strategies that promote a sound understanding of our policies.
  • Provide regular, clear, and effective information and communication regarding policy development and review.


Requirements



  • A Diploma in Early Childhood Education or higher qualification.
  • Significant experience (minimum 5 years) in early childhood education and care sector.
  • Leadership/management experience preferred.
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Word.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including proven ability to develop and facilitate training.
  • Highly organised and demonstrated attention to detail.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including demonstrated ability to lead and facilitate collaborative discussion and reflection.
  • Demonstrated understanding of early childhood education and care practice and operations, Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations, the National Quality Framework and current early childhood education and care best practice, frameworks and guidelines.
