Job DescriptionThe Senior Medical Nursing Unit Leader will provide clinical leadership to a dedicated nursing team within our Medical Service. Ward 4A is a 32-bed mixed medical ward caring for Acute Stroke, Neurology & General Medicine patients.
This role requires a passionate and experienced leader who can inspire their team to deliver safe, quality, and effective person-centered care to our patients. You will ensure inclusivity, a positive and collaborative environment, and play a key role in patient, staff, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the nursing team
- Develop and implement quality assurance and performance indicators
- Ensure operational, financial, and workforce management targets are met
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent
- A minimum of 5 years' clinical experience in medical nursing
- Post Graduate qualification in a specialty field or higher
Northern Beaches Hospital offers a competitive salary package, ranging from $60.93-$65.54 per hour, based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience.
